IT IS IMMORALITY l’ve been saying the argument that the sin is in the sexual act and not the attraction. The Bible says if it’s in your heart, it’s equal to acting in it. Same sex romantic relationships were not the design. It’s immoral. The same way we wouldn’t want an adult to experience attraction to a child or and animal. Not acting on it isn’t enough. The impure thoughts are immoral.

The Bible is clear on the subject. It’s a sin, abomination. There is no other way as far as the Bible is concerned. I understand the hate the sin but not the sinner.

Thank you Jackie and Preston, you nailed it for me. I have always been fearful, anxious and foolishly thinking I could control the outcomes with respects for my children’s well being. Two years ago I was snagged in something I won’t get into. My Lord has brought me to my knees to show me my children are His children ALWAYS and He loves them more. He is in control. He wants all good things for those who love Him but also for those who trust Him. I will wait upon the Lord for His Plan is better than mine. Jesus I trust in You!

Firstly I heard about this Thunder guy but never actually heard him speak before. To be honest I wouldn’t have listened/ watched this video if it were not for a younger sister friend who asked me if I’d watched it and what were my thoughts. Mr Thunder has mixed truth and error together. It doesn’t matter that he was the evangelical whatever of the conference in Jamaica. If he is indeed honest regarding his experience at seminary it wouldn’t surprise me that there were some who weren’t interested in answering his questions and were encouraging him to just continue in his position as the money was good - the Bible teaches that the sheep and tare will grow together until Christ returns. Anyways just addressing some of the errors he shared. ● ERROR 1: Sdas teach Lucifer was the other Archangel and Jesus as an Archangel is a created being like the celestial angels. Yes, the SDA church teaches that Michael is another name for Jesus when he was in heaven and Arch angel refers to Jesus. It does not teach that as Mr Thunder said at least twice that Lucifer ever was an Archangel. Nor will you find that in the Bible. There are only two references of the word archangel in the Bible and none connected ever to Lucifer. The sda church does not teach that at all. Archangel means leader or chief of the angels. It doesn’t mean a created being as the celestial angels. Also even the word angel which can include celestial beings translates to messenger in greek ( G32 - angelos). Paul who obviously was not a celestial being even refers to himself as an angel - a messenger in Galatians 4:14 “ And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus” Jesus is also referred to as the Messenger of the covenant. Messenger here is the same meaning as angel although it’s Hebrew in Malachi 3:1. Not in reference to a created being. “Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. Jesus is not a created being in any capacity as a celestial angel is. He is referred to as a Messenger of the Covenant and chief of the angels or messengers. ●ERROR 2 - The SDA church has its own Bible like the Jehovah Witness church. I’m not here to attack the JW’s although I don’t agree with their Bible but what I will say is SDA’s don’t have that in common either with JW’s. The Clear Word Bible is a paraphrased version of the Bible by someone who is SDA. The church does not adhere to this as their Bible nor is it the church’s official Bible nor encouraged to be. It’s as any other paraphrased Bible out there that you’re welcome to read. It just happens to be by a SDA believer. Tbh the more conservative SDA’s will encourage the King James version. But even the Kjv is not the church’s official Bible. There is no official Bible. ● ERROR 3 Ellen White teaches against the Godhead/Trinity. Another error. Whilst Mr Thunder is correct that there are some within the church today who have rejected the Trinity, there are many also who rejected Ellen White at the same time because her writings didn’t back up their beliefs against the trinity or Godhead. The focus of the SDA church/movement is supposed to be the teaching of the Three Angel’s Messages in Rev 14:6- 12 which we believe to be the closing work of the gospel. If there were some early members of this movement whose personal beliefs were different such as arianism it was not the universal belief. ● ERROR 4. The Jews didn’t believe in the investigative judgment. (SIDE NOTE - They definitely understood the Sabbath commandment - something you have rejected). The reason the Jews (Daniel included) did not understand all of the prophecy of Daniel 8:14 is because God said it would be sealed until the time of the end (of the Gentile domination of God’s people which history demonstrated in 1798 at the end of the papal world rule i.e. when Napoleon took the Pope captive and the 1260 years of persecution of God’s people(Rev 12:6 ,14; Daniel12:7 ) came to an end. ( 1260 yrs starting from 538 ad (when the RC church received its seat and power form Emperor Justinian to its official removal from world dominance in 1798) - Daniel 12:4 and 9. ● ERROR 5 The Investigative Judgment doctrine was a cover up doctrine by Hiram Edson and E G White. I was not brought up SDA but Methodist and from a simple Bible study the Investigative Judgment is clear. ●ERROR 6 Sda doctrines come from Ellen White. Not one comes from Ellen White. Actually it was people like Joseph Bates, James White, John Andrews, etc. who studied the Bible extensively through the power of the Holy Spirit. After these men had studied for themselves Ellen White received visions from God. Ellen White is not needed to confirm any of the SDA doctrines. They are all biblically sound. ●ERROR 7 That the SDA church teaches works for salvation because we teach keeping the commandments of God. Works don’t save us but God still requires obedience. That does not originate from SDAS but from the Bible. Mat 19:17 KJV - 17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. Jas 2:24 (KJV) - Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Jhn 14:15 KJV - 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. Rev 14:12 KJV - 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. ●ERROR 8 The scapegoat was an innocent animal so why would man’s sins be placed upon it and it be represented as Satan. The day of Atonement (Judgment) in Leviticus 16 is what happens to Satan in Rev 20. The confessed sins of God’s people that were forgiven by our Saviour and atoned for by His blood (hence the death of the Lord’s goat in Lev 16 ; Heb 9:22) were in type transferred to the azazel/scapegoat who is never sacrificed as a blood atonement would be the originator of sin to be forever destroyed eventually with sin in the lake of fire. (Sidenote - Don’t you realize so called ‘innocent’ animals were killed all the time under the ceremonial law. Not a good argument. These animals represented Christ there as they as Christ became sin for us and had to die). The scapegoat though would not be a blood atonement. Only Christ is (Hebs 9:22) Satan is allowed to live in the wilderness for 1000years (Rev 20)knowing what awaits him at the end but not immediately destroyed. 2 Cor.5:21, Roms 5:11 All the 7 feasts (including the day of atonement/Judgment in Lev 23 were foreshadows of the plan of salvation. Types for the antitype. I'd recommend Bryan Tyler to share an SDA perspective both from a historical and present view - ( Herbaddict on RUclips )

i learned some things in this video. much of what ej thunder said was familar to stuff i heard week in week out at home and so on. it's ghastly to hear the denomination posed as a cultic group, its ridiculous to be the sda's aren't a denomination, then again, that too is familiar because the remnant church talk often ended up being 'we're not just another church/denomination'. the other problem is orthodoxy here. it's not in reference to the orthodox church, seeing evangelicalism/ fundamentalism that rose after the sda's as orthodoxy isnt it.

It is called the cleansing of the sanctuary, Daniel 8:14 talks about it. The pattern of the earthly is in heaven, this is the sanctuary that is being cleansed. It is a work of judgement as we learn from the earthly. All Biblical and a teaching God has His hand over. Psalm 77:13 King James Version 13 Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?

The truth is the 7th Day Sabbath still stands and most of the Christians who beat down SDA's claim to believe in the Bible but every denomination's founders have stated that the 7th Day Sabbath was not changed to the 1st Day (Sunday). I was a former Baptist and I went to the SDA church to learn the truths that they teach. I know this much, if you love Jesus and want the truth, you will find it and He will make sure His Bride is on one accord before He returns, so lets not put down those who at least teach Jesus Christ and Him crucified when all the other religions out here are bowing to idols or proclaiming there is no God. Furthermore, I want to see the episode with Pastor Ivor Myers because this interview was biased and the explanation was not 100% correct based on the Bible truth that I've learned. I love the SDA church and the Sunday churches (except for the mess going on in many of them on both sides), but we cannot deny that the AntiChrist in Revelation has a mark and his mark deals with false worship. Let that sink in.

I think it would be good to bring in SDAs instead of talking about them. I’ve seen other programs do the same regarding other religions. From the comments, it sounds like there is a lot of misinformation.

Moreso than men, women want to be emotionally fed and inspired. Men want to be intellectually fed and inspired. Church has become less about teaching and more about emotional manipulation. Not to say this is true in all cases, or even all men and women but generally, this is true

I grew up in church. I “knew” that God IS better. In recent years I have realized just how unbelieving I really am. I believed the Word was true, but I never thought it was true FOR ME. I have believed since I was 5 that Christ died and rose from the dead (that’s when I prayed the prayer), but I didn’t feel like it was for me it until I was in my 30’s. Which is funny (ironic not haha) because I always thought I was saved (as in I had that fire insurance), but I never realized that salvation was SO much more than that. Y’all are discipling me and don’t even know it.
